Pitfall at diagnosis: lymphnode tuberculosis as cause of fatigue syndrome and abdominal complaints

We report the case of a 23 years old refugee from ethiopia. He was admitted to our hospital because of fatique syndrom, weight los and abdominal pain. No coughing was reported by the patient. Clinical examination, laboratory tests, abdominal sonography and gastroscopy revealed acute gastritis. Quantiferon test was positive. The patient was discharged with recommendation for further treatment. Several weeks later the patient was readmitted because of progressive weight loss and fatigue syndrome.
